Quantitative trading has been a long-standing interest of mine, and in 2025, I began researching it more seriously, leveraging my strong background in computing and machine learning.

Today, I took the first steps by setting up my environment, installing Parallel Desktop to run a Windows 11 system, as many trading software platforms are Windows-based. I also created an account on JoinQuant and downloaded software from Wenhua. However, I soon discovered that all of the software is paid, meaning that before you can start earning from quantitative trading, these platforms are already making money off you. Below is a list of these platforms.

Parallel Desktop (charged with free 14 days trial)
Windows 11 (charged)
https://www.joinquant.com/ 聚宽API (charged)
麦语言量化交易软件 (charged)

I also opened broker accounts with Guojin Securities and Moomoo. Additionally, I plan to create some social media accounts to share my findings. That’s all I’ve done so far. Good luck to everyone—I hope you all become winners in this game!
